Cara and David are just the sort of people who you want to hang out with: they are cute, polite, funny… and super hot.
They are in love.
Dave proposed to Cara at a music festival. I remember seeing this blurry phone snap pop up on my Facebook newsfeed of the moment she said ‘yes’. Dave had picked her up and they were kissing each other, with the whole festival in full flight all around them. I remember being really touched by the picture and just feeling delighted for these two happy people who I didn’t even know.
Their wedding day was full of personal touches and tears. Dave was a hands-on fiancé, both he and Cara made all sorts of beautiful decorations which they had scattered around the venue.
Dave and the boys all wore kilts to remember and honour Cara’s Scottish dad, who has passed away. Cara’s brothers walked her down the aisle on the day, in what was a very beautiful and emotional moment.
Dave spent the whole ceremony with red lipstick stains on his lips, left there from the sneaky kiss he gave his stunning bride when they saw each other for the first time that day. I wouldn’t blame him though – the night before, Cara surprised him with a book of very tasteful nude photos of herself that I had shot a few months earlier.
It was a privilege to shoot their day. They are what I think the embodiment of true love looks like, it would be craziness not to share their photos here, to inspire others and spread the love.
